The Walking Dead
A while back there was a blind item about an actor who got really upset about Frank Darabont's firing from "Walking Dead"? That would appear to be American "Being Human" star Sam Witwer who had a cameo as the zombie in the tank in the pilot episode.

Witwer says that Darabont wanted to tell a "prequel story about how Atlanta fell…'Black Hawk Down', but with zombies" and with some of the regular cast briefly cameoing.

Witwer's non-turned character was to be the lead character in it with the episode ending with a reprise of the tank scene from the pilot. With Darabont out, it's not happening now and he seems understandably upset about it. [Source: io9]

FOX
Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly appeared at the Television Critics Association winter press tour the other day and confirmed a few bits of news.

The network still hasn't made final decisions on the fates of "House", "Fringe" or "Terra Nova" but the outlook for all three isn't good. The creators of "Bones" however feel "very confident" they will be given the go-ahead for an eighth season.

"Glee" will NOT be getting a spin-off but they've managed an "interesting idea" that will allow graduating students to appear. Lea Michele is confirmed to be returning, however Chris Colfer isn't yet set. [Source: TV Fanatic]

NBC
NBC's Bob Greenblatt has assured the press that "Community" and "Law and Order: SVU" will be coming back, but dates for their return haven't been set yet. [Source: The Associated Press]
